Collect and Analyze the Data that Matters

Creating a healthy and thriving workplace culture requires not just implementing equitable systems but also making sure that employees experience their intended benefits on a daily basis. Our innovative approach bridges theory and action, analyzing the relationship between two key sets of data: employee survey results and an organizational assessment.

Employee Survey

Our employee survey measures the perceptions, experiences, and well-being of your employees, providing insights into your organization’s strengths, as well as opportunities for growth. Survey scores are calculated using a proprietary rubric and are provided for demographic groups with a minimum of 5 participants.

Organizational Assessment

Our organizational assessment provides a framework for identifying barriers and gaps in workplace systems. With a comprehensive collection of research-backed policies and practices rooted in behavioral science, we provide actionable and attainable approaches to mitigate bias and drive positive outcomes for your organization.

Our employee survey and organizational assessment examine six key areas of employee experience and workplace systems, offering a holistic view of your organization’s health:

Hiring Practices

Ensuring diverse talent pools and equal opportunities

Pay Equity

Valuing the contributions of all employees fairly

Work-Life Integration

Promoting employee health, well-being, and productivity

Representation in Leadership

Including diverse voices and perspectives in decision-making

Professional Development

Providing access to growth opportunities and upward mobility

Workplace Culture

Creating safe spaces where all employees feel like they belong

Ellequate helped us make concrete changes to our policies to disrupt unconscious bias. While there’s still work to do, we now know where we want to be and we have a plan to get there.

Identify and Eliminate Barriers

Employee survey data segmented by gender, ethnicity/race, sexual orientation, disability, age, family status, operational unit, role, and level help you quickly identify disparities in employee experience, while advanced analytics show you exactly where to prioritize your efforts to have the greatest impact. See how you stack up against your peers with benchmarking. Design a data-driven DEI strategy with targeted recommendations, easy-to-use action planning tools, and a resource library full of sample policies and practices.

The fact that we can easily make and track 6-month and 2-year goals is so helpful for us. We have everything in our hands, including recommendations and the data that support them. It made us realize, why do we need to hire an outside consultant? We have everything right in front of us. We can do this work.

Demonstrate your commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace by getting certified as a Leader In Workplace Equity. Ellequate certified employers stand out in a competitive marketplace, attract top talent, and drive employee engagement and productivity. The certification process is included in an Ellequate membership and can be pursued at any time, however, it is not a requirement.

Certification Requirements

We offer three levels of employer certification: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. All levels require minimum scores on both the employee survey and organizational assessment. Silver and Gold require additional measures, including conducting a pay equity audit and providing paid parental or caregiver leave to employees of all genders.

Recertification

Certification is valid for two years. To maintain certification, employers need to demonstrate progress, either through improved employee survey scores, changes to workplace policies and practices, or both. Employers seeking recertification must meet the most up-to-date standards for all levels of certification.
